Lake Rules

  • Boats and personal watercraft using Lake One must belong only to valid HOA members or guests of members with the member present while using the lake. Keys to boat ramp may not be shared.
  • Lake and beach use are for HOA members only. Renters are not allowed to use the lake and beach.
  • Boats propelled with gas engines are to be no more than 16 feet in length.
  • Limit of no more than 3 gas powered boats or watercraft on the water at the same time. Use common courtesy if a fourth member wishes to use the lake.
  • Operate all boats and watercraft in a safe manner in accordance with Department of Natural Resources rules and regulations, with ample distance (100 foot minimum) between tubers, skiers, docks, etc.
  • No boats or watercraft are permitted on the beach or in swimming area.
  • Beach use is only for valid HOA members and guests that are accompanied by a HOA member.
  • No alcoholic beverages are allowed at the beach. No fires or grills are allowed on the beach or parking area.
  • No glass containers are allowed in the beach and parking area.
  • Beach and parking area are to be vacated at sundown.
  • Playing on or near the drainage equipment and spillway is strictly prohibited.
  • Only HOA members and guests accompanied by a HOA member are allowed to fish from the Lake One dam.
  • There is no lifeguard at the beach so use at your own risk.
  • When the lake level is high or over sea walls please refrain from gas powered water craft use on the lake.
  • The use of Lake One use is a privilege. Violation of these rules will result in the loss of lake privileges.
